We start the trip at an easy pace with a walk through the welcoming Muslim quarter of Bo-Kaap. Optional: join a cooking workshop with halal ingredients, taught by a Malay Muslim woman.

Discover the iconic Table Mountain by cable car and take in a breathtaking view over Cape Town. Optional: visit Robben Island, meet a former political prisoner and explore the historic island on a guided tour.

A spectacular day trip along the finest spots of the Cape Peninsula. Drive the famous Chapman's Peak Drive, discover Cape Point National Park and admire the charming penguins at Boulders Beach. Optional: a boat trip from Hout Bay to Duiker Island, where thousands of seals can be seen in their natural habitat.

Enjoy a relaxed free day in Cape Town and explore the city at your own pace. Optional: go whale watching from Hermanus, transfers included. Or choose an adventurous shark cage diving excursion to Gansbaai, including transfers, meals and an unforgettable encounter with great white sharks.

We travel on to the Garden Route Game Lodge (or an equivalent alternative in the region). An exciting afternoon safari is on the programme right after arrival. Look out for wildlife and enjoy the beautiful South African landscape.

Visit Knysna Elephant Park and come face to face with these impressive animals. Learn more about their lives, their behaviour and their protection during a special encounter. Optional: discover the spectacular Featherbed Nature Reserve by ferry and 4x4, with beautiful views, a walk through nature and a delicious lunch. Or enjoy an atmospheric sunset cruise to the famous Knysna Heads, including oysters and a drink.

Go on safari in Addo Elephant National Park and discover its impressive nature and wildlife on an afternoon drive. At dusk an atmospheric sunset game drive is on the programme. Optional: a morning whale safari. Look out for southern right whales and humpbacks, with a chance of spotting seals and perhaps even a great white shark along the way. A unique experience at sea.

Enjoy a free day full of adventure in Addo Elephant National Park. Optional: a full day safari in an open 4x4, including a traditional South African braai. Prefer something active? Choose horse riding or one of the beautiful Zuurberg hiking trails. For the ultimate safari experience there is the Schotia Safari, with game drives, dinner and wildlife well into the evening.
